Dresses

One of my goals for this year was to sew the girls more clothes. Here is the latest creation. Very easy dresses but very fun. Ari would not hold steel for the pictures no matter how hard I tried.

The Cabin

We just got back from the cabin and we had a wonderful time. Here are a few pictures of the glorious vacation.

We had so much fun visiting with Nate's siter and their family. Ari and Devynn LOVE their cousins Evan and Liv.

Here is the only picture I took of the girls while they were doing something that had to do with Easter.

WE MISS YOU DADDY!

Nate, here are a few pictures of the girls today. We miss you!
Devynn is wearing the skirt I made for Ari. Devy's skirt isn't quite finished.

Here is Ari doing her famous "cheesy" smile. She almost looks angry.

Happy Birthday Devy!

Devynn turned one year old on Sunday. I cant believe how fast time has gone by. We had a great day. We made red velvet cupcakes, which were a hit with the girls.

Ari had to blow out candles of her own too.

We went to Grandpa Bensons grave.

Ari loves her Grandma Benson. This is a cute photo but what is even cuter is Nate in the background. Take a look. He's such a character.

Good Times!

Etiquette Dinner For some reason we were asked to teach the young men and young women about etiquette. I don't know if they chose us to teach this because we were the perfect example of good etiquette or that we desperately needed help in this subject. I think it was we needed some improvement. Nate and I dressed up so the youth would take us seriously, after all, we are serious people. I tried to convince Nate to speak in an English accent but unfortunately, he refused.

More Potty Training Here is a new story. Nate was laying on the big pillow the other day and Ari stood on him and peed. Then she ran around laughing and saying, "I peed on daddy." She does really well at times and then she does something like this.

Bath time I think that I have already posted a picture of the girls in the sink bathing. I posted this because this is how they are suppose to look.

Not like this. Devy has to be where Ari is, even if it means the same sink. The are squished in there but they were still having a good time.

Summer's Here! The girls played in there swimsuits yesterday and had a great time. I cant believe that it is already getting warm.

Another tag

First of all, I would like to send a shout out to my cousin Katie…Holla! Thanks for the tag.

How did you meet your spouse? Well… In college, I worked at the gym as a spinning instructor. (It was the greatest job!) Anyways, one day after clocking out I saw , hottest hunk of a man in the back row of the spin class following mine. (Later I found out that he only lasted 10 minutes in that class.) I started noticing him in the gym everyday and I found myself looking for him. Come to find out, he was in my ward. Well one weekend we were going to my roommate’s house in Raft River and we asked his roommate to come. His roommate asked if he could bring one of his roommates. We said yes and I was hoping he’d bring Nate. Sure enough he did. We had a great time. Somehow we ended up driving back to Rexburg in the same car. I dont know what happened, maybe it was his good looks or his awesome personality but the rest in history.

Where did you go on your first date? To be honest, I don’t really know. Neither of us are very good at remembering those types of things. And who asked who out? I don’t know. Probably me. (Nate just read this and said, “No I probably asked you out.”) Who knows.

How long have you been together? Well we have been married almost 4 years and we dated for about 1 ½ years. So, almost 5 ½ years.

Who eats more? It depends on what the food is.

Who said I love you first? Technically, he did. Shortly after we were dating he slipped up and said I love you. He then quickly corrected himself and said, “I love your stomach.” (What?) It was awkward but very funny. He didn’t say I love you for a long time after that. I was concerned about this matter so I confronted him about the issue. I said I know that you love me, so why don’t you say it. Being the romantic that he is, he said, “If you know that I love you then why do I have to say it?” I then made him say I love you to me so I could say it back. To answer the question, he said I love you first.

Who is taller? He is.

Who sings better? I don’t really know. I love hearing him sing. Many of you may not know this about Nate but he is an extremely accomplished singer. He can sing a very familiar song and make up an entirely new melody. In fact I don’t think he ever sings the original melody. I don’t know if this is by accident or on purpose but it is absolutely brilliant.

Who is smarter? With out a doubt he is… psych. ( I don’t even know if that is how you spell psych). Seriously, h
e is actually smarter in most areas.

Who does the laundry? We both do.

Who does the dishes? We both do.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I always use to sleep on the side that is furthest away from the door. Now that our kids sleep on both sides of our bed, we seem to switch sides all the time. He usually starts out on the right side.

Who pays the bills? We both do.

Who mows the lawn? He does, he’s a natural.

Who cooks dinner? Mostly me but sometimes he does.

Who drives when you are together? Always him. One time I drove on a vacation and I totaled the car. I learned my lesson.

Who is more stubborn? We both can be but not usually.

Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? I am never wrong. Just kidding! We both can admit we are wrong. It’s not that big of a deal. We are actually pretty good at laughing at ourselves.

Whose parents do you see the most? My parents. I do wish we were able to see Nate’s parents and family more often.

Who kissed who first? Nate kissed me.

Who Proposed? Nate did. We were on th
e side of snow mountain on a snow machine. It was zero degrees. The snow was too deep to kneel but I have to give him props because he did take his helmet off and it was too cold for words. I was actually thinking he would propose earlier. In fact, I bought my dress before he even officially asked me. Kind of crazy but someone forgot to talk to my dad.

Who is more sensitive? Unfortunately or fortunately
neither of us are very sensitive.

Who has more friends? I use to think that I did but Nate definitely does. He is very social.

Who has more siblings? Nate does. He has 4 sister and 2 brothers.
I have 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Who wears the pants in the family? I do, but I like to make Nate feel like he does.

It’s amazing that our lives just keep getting better and better. Being married to Nate is so much greater, especially in the entertainment department, than I ever thought it could me. Thanks sugar muffin, I love you with a passion.

I am tagging RYANNE, ASHLEY, STEADMAN, KRISTEN, and AMY MERRILL. I also tag NATALIE, JULIA and MAURI. So get to it!

Some more of the girls

Here is Dev lookin good!

We were out the other night and my parents were watching the girls. Ari insisted that she needed to take a bath in the sink. I think she is getting too big.

Some more sisterly love.

We went to the zoo today and had a wonderful time. I will post some more of that later.
