Potty Training

We are taking on the task of potty training Ari. Overall it is going good, we are making progress. I feel like I am constantly asking her, "Do you have to go to the bathroom?" When she goes to the bathroom in the toilet she gets a small sucker. For us, that has been very effective. Well, last night the girls took a bath. I got Devynn out and Ari got herself out and ran down to the game room to find Nate and to play with her doll house. I slowly made my way down to find her. When I got down there, I put on Devy's diaper. While doing this Ari ran up to me and said, "I peed in the toilet." This is basically what she looked like(minus the phone), and yes...she really peed in her doll house toilet. I never knew she had the skills to pee in such a small container. Amazing! I told her that she did a good job of peeing in the toilet but next time to use a big toilet. That was one of the funniest things I've seen.

Tonight we were all hanging out in the game room and Ari said, "Mommy, look at your daughters!" This is what we saw. These girls are hilarious.



Ari then had to get into the sink.

Yesterday we went to Chick-fil-a for lunch. Devynn was so excited to get a balloon. She ended up falling asleep on the way home.






My parents found new owners for Maxi. Devynn still crawls to the door and waits for Maxi. It is kind of sad.

Nate plays softball on Thursdays. Ari loves to watch Nate play. She usually takes her soccer ball with her and kicks it around. When she thinks she's mastered something, she'll call out to Nate and say, "Daddy watch this." And if he dosent' watch, she'll keep yelling until he does.

Grandma's House

First of all, thanks Grandma for the amazing meal. Everyone loves going to Grandmas Bensons, especially the girls. They picked oranges,


climbed trees...

and took a bath.

We had a wonderful weekend with Nate's sister, Mindy. We went to Cabelas, rode on the carousel, FDR open and other fun things. We had the best time with her and we are so sad she had to go. Ari woke up yesterday morning looking for her. Mindy, come back soon!
