Mostly Devynn

It just turned out that this post and the pictures in it are mostly of Dev.
Here is Dev and her side kick, puppy. I am so surprised that the dog still remembers how to walk, since one of the girls is always carrying her. We still do not have a name for this poor puppy. We have an easier time naming our children, and that's the truth.

Devynn really LOVES ranch dressing. Who needs soda when you have ranch?

This was on Ari's birthday. I think Devynn looks more excited for us to start singing than Ari is.

Ari is 4!!!

I can hardly believe that Ari is 4 years old. Time sure does fly by fast! We have celebrated it by going to the doctor and getting shots for everyone. Here are some recent pictures taken while we were up in Idaho/Montana. Thanks again Bri, you are AWESOME!!

Benson update: He is doing really well! He is now 14 weeks old!! Today at the doctor he weighed in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. which is good and is 19 inches long. He has had all types of hearing test lately and unfortunately has failed every single one. They have concluded that he has moderate hearing loss BUT the good news is that it may be fluid. So the ENT is going to meet with us over the next couple months and we will get that problem fixed then we will retest the little man and hopefully he will pass. Things are really looking good with him.

True Story

Ok I seriously typed 4 paragraphs on the story of this dog and one of my daughters (I wont say the name) flip off the computer. So I am not going to re write it now. I need to make dinner. Maybe it's better that it was erased.

To make a long story short, Nate and I promised our girls they could get a dog if they started sleeping in their own bed, threw away their bottle (Devy) and pacifier (Ari(Ari was off it for eight months then found her "secret stash" and has been more addicted than ever)). They did it within a few days and we had to pay up. We swore when we first got married that we would never get one. We don't have anything against them, we just don't know what to do with them. We picked her up yesterday. She was suppose to be their only Christmas present but as you can see we didn't wait. We still don't have a name. Ari want Rainbow or Tiger. Devynn wants Prince Ali. So if anyone has a better name (which is probably ANY other name) please do tell. The moral of the story is don't promise anything to your kids that you aren't planning on keeping, they will remember. She really is cute and we have already become quite fond of her.

Christmas time

Every year since I was two or three years old my grandparents have thrown a huge Christmas party and the same Santa has come every year. It is always a big hit and the Santa does a really great job. The girls had so much fun (Dev really didn't like Santa though or the elf).

Devy wanted nothing to do with Santa. She wouldn't even look at him. And while she was waiting for him to call her up she was sweating and her face was bright red. Poor girl!!!

At least she has improved from last year and Nate didn't have to wear the antlers.

Benson did ok.

The girls are waiting to go to the party.

Our little Benson turned 12 weeks on Saturday and weighed in at the doctors office at exactly 6 pounds!!!

Nate has been reading Christmas stories to the girls every night by the Christmas tree. They really love this!!

This slide looks like the type of equipment that they had around when I was younger and had to replace because kids would get hurt. Ari got hurt first time down.

The girls ADORE Ryanne. I know that they wish that she was their sister too.

Turkey Bowl

I took some pictures of the guys warming up for the Turkey Bowl. Since they forgot a football (crazy I know) they had to warm up using a warped kick ball. They almost look like they should be trying out for a Broadway musical than getting ready to play football.

This was a really amazing catch made by wes. Unfortunately this is how we'll remember it.

Shooting

Since my parents live out of town, they can shoot on their property. Some people were really really excited about this and made a really impressive target. Here are someone of those people. Ben gets two pictures because of his dedication, intensity and enthusiasm.

The Judds

The Judd family came up to my parents house in Montana so we could bless Benson. We had a blast! We went to a great dinosaur museum, saw the headwaters of THE Missouri River, went to Buffalo Jump State Park and to top it off Jenny painted the girls nails. Their stay went way too fast.

This one is out of order

Every year my mom gets the whole family matching pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve. Since no one will be together for Christmas we get matching Thanksgiving pajamas. Which were great also. Here are a few pictures of them.

I dont have a big family post so here is Dallin and Ashley modeling them.

Halloweenish October Post

Is it me or does anyone else happen to find things like this??? No one was around when I found it and no one admitted to it. Weird.
