One More Week!

About six months ago, a friend caught us at a weak moment and we ended up signing on for the St. George Marathon. Six months ago it sounded like a great idea. I have always wanted to run a full marathon, I figured that this was my chance. Know that we have a week left I am not feeling so sure about it, I don't know if I am as prepared as a should be. I think that it will be a good time regardless. I have my shuffle full of inspiring songs like Helen Reddys, "I am woman", Nate will be there, and Trevor and Dallin are running it with us. It will be fun!

Every once in a while, since the weather has been nice, the girls come running with us and give motivation. While in the stroller, Ari usually likes to eat snacks while she looks for airplanes, dogs and birds and she'll recite songs.

Devy usually is asleep by the time we are at the end of the street.
Today the girls wore new dresses to church. They looked very cute. These pictures were taken after church when the hair was messy and the dresses were wrinkled. I'll take a better one next time.

Ari is always next to Devynn. Ari's hair is out of control.
Ari is a climber!

QUILT

Over the past few years I have discovered quilting. Seriously,I find it so fun and so addicting. Lately I have been taking some quilting classes. About a month ago I took a class with my grandma and I have FINALLY finished the project I started. It took a little longer than I planned because of some other projects but the piecing, for the most part is completed. The great thing about this type of quilt is that only one fabric is used. This is the fabric that I started with.

Here is the finished project. Basically finished, I still have to get a border, quilt it then bind it.

Ari Dancing

Yes...we are still alive!

It has been so long since I have posted anything. A lot has been going on here. Over the past few weeks we have had Ry and Ben and Dashley in town. Good times! It was so much fun hanging out with Ryanne and Ashley. Thanks to all the guys who were kind enough to watch the girls, we were able to get A LOT of quilting done which is always a good time. I am not quite done with my quilt top but Ashley completely finished her quilt and Ryanne is close. I'll post mine when it is finished.

The girls are as busy as ever. Ari has a couple of new loves, they include stickers (she puts them on everything), markers, dancing, singing and shrek. Whenever we walk into a new room she yells, "I'm an ogre... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Oh, I almost forgot, she loves to kiss. She has to kiss everyone and everything. We were in Costco the other day and she kissed everything we past from the onion box to the laundry detergent. She is hilarious! Devynns new loves are putting everything she can find in her mouth, ice cream, giggling, rolling, rolling and rolling. She seems like she is getting older drastically. Every morning I feel like I wake up to a much older Devynn. She is such a fun baby and cute. I really love having babies, they are so entertaining and if amazes me how fast they grow and learn. If I didn't have to be pregnant I think that I would keep having babies. Unfortunately, I really dont love being pregnant.

Here Ari is sporting some of here stickers that Dallin and Ashley gave her. As you can see, they are very strategically placed. She is concentrating so hard on keeping that Jell-O mold from falling.
